  • Responsibilities:

  • Cost analysis of estimates on completed projects.
  • Assisting Project and Property Management departments with budgets and estimates.
  • Assisting in maintaining a construction cost database.
  • Consulting and communicating with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors regarding budgets and scope of work.
  • Other related duties as required.
  • Site visits will be a necessity so successful candidate will require a valid driver’s license and an automobile.
  • Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of relevant commercial real estate construction experience in Canada, with a preference to industrial, office, retail asset classes.
  • Candidate with either a PQS or P.Eng. designation is preferred.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and having a network of local resources will be an asset.
  • Previous handson experience on construction sites will be an asset.
  • Knowledge of industrial construction methods required.
  • Successful candidate will possess strong communication interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
