- As a PM, you will play a crucial role in our construction projects by providing accurate cost estimates and project evaluations.
- You will collaborate with various teams within the company, including other project managers, architects, and subcontractors, to ensure the success of our construction projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment required for construction commercial Drywall projects.
- Conduct thorough take-offs and measurements from architectural and engineering drawings to determine quantities for pricing.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather relevant information and clarify project requirements.
- Prepare detailed pipe bid proposals, including breakdowns of costs and timelines, and present them to clients and stakeholders.
- Evaluate and analyze subcontractor bids, negotiate pricing, and select qualified subcontractors for specific projects.
- Monitor and track changes to project plans, specifications, and timelines and adjust cost estimates accordingly.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and pricing fluctuations to ensure accurate and competitive cost estimates.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project meetings as required.
- Provide support during the project execution phase, including change order evaluations and cost tracking.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, PROJECT MANAGEMENT, or a related field or
(equivalent work experience). * Proven experience as a PROJECT MANAGER WITH DRYWALL and FRAMING, in the Commercial Construction sector and (Capital Projects exp a plus) (PLEASE NO RESIDENTIAL!!!)YOU MUST HAVE DETAILED COMMERCIAL DRYWALL EXPERIENCE * Book of Contacts from developers, property managers, construction managers and trusted subcontractors.
- Business Development experience a plus.
- Strong knowledge of construction DRYWALL materials, methods, and best practices.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering DRYWALL and FRAMING drawings.
- Familiarity with construction estimating software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Solid organizational and time management abilities.
- Professional certification (e.g., Certified Professional Estimator) is a plus.
