- Drywall Installation: Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets to wall and ceiling frames, securing panels in place.
- Taping and Finishing: Apply tape and sealing compounds to cover joints, corners, and screw marks, creating smooth and even surfaces.
- Plaster Application: Use plaster or joint compound to finish drywall, ensuring walls and ceilings are ready for paint or decorative finishes.
- Sanding and Smoothing: Sand surfaces to remove imperfections and create a seamless finish.
- Repair and Maintenance: Conduct repairs to existing drywall, filling holes, cracks, and other damage.
- Collaboration: Work alongside other trades, such as painters and carpenters, to ensure project phases are completed efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all workplace safety guidelines, including proper handling of materials and equipment.

Requirements
- Certification: Red Seal Certification as a Drywaller/Plasterer in British Columbia (preferred but not mandatory).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in drywall installation, taping, and plastering in construction or renovation settings.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and drywall finishing techniques.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to achieve smooth, flawless finishes and recognize imperfections.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Driver’s License: Valid Class 5 license is an asset.
