Job Title: Information Security Analyst
Location: Toronto, ON
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 per year
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Information Security Analyst to join our growing team in Toronto, ON. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our organization’s information systems and networks. You will work closely with other members of the IT team to implement security measures, monitor security vulnerabilities, and respond to security incidents.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct regular security assessments and audits of our systems and networks
– Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices
– Monitor and respond to security incidents, including conducting forensic analysis and root cause analysis
– Collaborate with other members of the IT team to implement security solutions and tools
– Stay up to date on the latest security threats and trends in the industry
– Provide training and guidance to staff members on security best practices
– Assist in the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
– 3+ years of experience in information security or a related field
– Strong knowledge of security best practices, standards, and frameworks
– Experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software
– Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Relevant certifications, such as CISSP or CISM, are a plus
