Formed in 2009, OCL started their first project and began building around a business model focused on “People and Doing the Job Right”.The RoleWe are currently recruiting for Industrial Painters to work out of our Nisku Fabrication Shop and on our Fort Saskatchewan Project Site. Please note that our shop is relocating to Fort Saskatchewan within the next year. This role will report into the Coating Manger.Compensation/Benefits
- $35 – $45 per hour based on experience
- Overtime after 8 hours per day
- 10% vacation and stat pay on all regular hours worked
- Benefits after 90 days with the company – life insurance, dependent life insurance, LTD, AD&D, drugs, dental, vision, chrio, massage, etc.
Responsibilities and Duties
- 8 to 12 hours per day, work on weekends as required.
- Blasting a variety of surfaces including, pipe, structural, and equipment.
- The safe operation and maintenance of equipment while adhering to the companies Safe Work Practices and PPE guidelines.
- Coating application of piping, structural, and equipment utilizing brush and roll, conventional, airless, plural component spray methods.
Qualifications/Desired Skills
- Journeyman Painter ticket considered an asset.
- Plural pump & spray experience required
- Facility sandblasting experience required
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as an industrial painter
- Possess a basic understanding of: mobile blasting equipment, application equipment for above and below grade coating systems.
- Previous blasting and spray application experience
- Must be able to speak and read English
- Must be able to work with a high PSI hose. No cabinet blasters.
- Experience with epoxies, urethanes and grouts.
- Has reliable transportation
- Must have a class 5 driver’s license with a good driving abstract
- May be required to pass a drug and alcohol test for certain project based work
- Prefer applicants to have Denso, SPC, Stopaq, NACE/AMPP coating tickets
- Extra consideration given to those that have the following tickets: PCST, Defensive Driving, LSE, Fall Protection, H2S Alive, Confined Space

Surgical Program Coordinator
A leading healthcare facility is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Surgical Program Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the logistics and administrative aspects of our surgical program, ensuring efficient operation and optimal patient care.
Key responsibilities:
– Coordinate surgical cases in collaboration with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
– Schedule surgeries, pre-operative assessments, and post-operative follow-up appointments
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of surgical procedures and patient outcomes
– Communicate with patients, families, and staff to provide information and support throughout the surgical process
