- Oversee and review project plans, requirements and specifications
- Demonstrated leadership ability to coordinate a team to develop an estimate
- Determine labor and equipment costs
- Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing
- Understand project logistics and project schedule
- Understand all bid documents and assess project risks
- Review quotes and estimates with the project team
- Prepare estimates and different levels of completion ( conceptual, schematic, DD, CD, etc.)
- Orchestrate pre-construction duties and meeting with owners, clients and engineers
- Serve as company interface between owner & architect
- Responsible for developing leadership, motivation, and communication with owners, subs and project team
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working on projects ranging from one hundred thousand to five million dollars.
- Advanced computer skills with estimating software
- Effective presentation skills
- Advanced Computer skills with MS Office
- Extensive knowledge of construction costs and engineering principles
- Understand aspects of structual steel and misc metal concepts.
