Your Responsibilities:
- Analyse project specifications, drawings, and other documents to prepare comprehensiveand differing forms of tenders, budgets, cost estimates, etc. for construction projects.
- Conduct thorough quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications to determinematerial and labour costs for each project.
- Utilise estimating software and tools to generate detailed cost breakdowns and proposals.
- Obtain and evaluate quotes from subcontractor and suppliers, negotiating pricing andterms to ensure competitive bids.
- Prepare and submit bids and proposals in a timely manner ensuring all required informationis included.
- Identify and assess potential risks and uncertainties in project estimates and proposemitigation strategies.
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates and proposals to clients and participate innegotiations as needed.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Surveying or related field (or equivalentwork experience).
