A Day in the Life

  • Assist Designer and Project manager in the development of overall system design.
  • Upon the release of the system design details from the Designer work with Drafting Manager to establish durations for all tasks required: Modulation, Embed drawings, shop drawings, and material takeoffs, model creation, fabrication package.
  • Provide all details and layouts as needed to complete material take-offs, models, and fabrication drawings.
  • Create shop drawings internally or work with outsource company to complete shop drawings.
  • Upon a detailed review and completion of drawings, the Job Captain to submit final drawings to the Designer, Project Manager, Project Engineer, and the Drafting Manager for “high level” checking and review. Upon completion of this review make any corrections as noted.
