Job description: Job SummaryWe are recruiting an Industrial Painter to join our team at our Cold Lake facility. In this hands-on role, you will be preparing and applying high-quality coatings to a variety of surfaces, ensuring durability and an impeccable finish. Your responsibilities will include the preparation of materials for sandblasting or coating, removal of previous paint surfaces, and expertly priming and painting diverse materials, structures, and equipment.Responsibilities
- Preparation of materials for sandblasting or coating
- Removal of previous paint surfaces
- Prep, prime and paint various types of materials, structures and equipment
- Clean and maintain spray guns, paint booth and related equipment
- Prepare and apply stencils, decals or other decorative items on finished products
- Select appropriate paint or mix paints
- Repair and/or replace interior and exterior components such as instrument panels, seat frame assemblies, carpets and floorboard insulation, trim panels and mouldings
- Remove and install bolt-on components such as hoods, deck lids, fenders, trim, doors, glass and interior items
- Match colours accurately
- Mix and apply refinish products in the correct sequence, ensuring chemical compatibility, adhesion and durability
- Perform polishing techniques
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Related Trade Certificate
- Minimum 1 year of industrial or automotive painting experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Strong computer skills
- Possess valid driver’s license
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Strong attention to detail
- Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing including marijuana
- Must be fit-for-duty
- Ability to work well independently
- Must be immediately eligible/able to work in Canada

Summary:
